Essential objectives of the company

Regards to the strategically objectives of the company, they can be summarized as following:

- rehabilitation of the railway infrastructure at the level of designed parameters and of the security of circulation, through maintenance of repairs' cycles of the infrastructure elements;
- achievement of the interoperability with systems of European railway transport through alignment to its technical and operating parameters;
- exploitation of the national production of marks, in a high proportion at European standards;

- increasing the efficiency of maintenance activity of the infrastructure through the increase of the mechanization level of works and also of the work productivity, in order to reduce the costs;
- implementation and maintenance of an adequate system of quality;
- implementation of marketing methodologies and procedures regarding the commercialization of transport capacities.

For the rehabilitation of railway infrastructure it is necessary firstly to be realized works of maintenance, current and capital repairs for the fixed equipment, at the necessary volume imposed by the actual technical situation, and secondly works of renewal of the railway infrastructure.

For this two main objectives must be achieved:

- to realize works of maintenance to the volume and parameters imposed by the intensity of traffic and the usage of tracks and equipment;
- to achieve and maintain a reasonable program for the annual volume of capital repairs works so that to be eliminated the settlings to this category of repairs, in a definite term (5 years), and to cover the rhythm of degradation.
