Rednic might leave Rapid

“ We could have won, taking into consideration the fact that Steaua had only one opportunity to score for 80 minutes and in the first half they took advantage of it. There are so little chances to accomplish our goal and that’s why I will probably leave this team” declared the coach of Rapid CFR football players at the end of Steaua - Rapid match concluded 1-1.

The two teams started from the beginning of the match played in Giulesti stadium, with the fear that the other team will score first. Rapid, as well as Steaua have staked on the defense, attacking phase being seen only close to the end of the first half. Rednic, as well as Piturca wanted to do proper mutations to annihilate one each other. Ion Viorel was the surprise by our boys, making a good team with Robert Nita. Maldarasanu had the task to advance to the center of the field when our boys are in possession of the ball, and in the free space made by “Malda” advancement Apostol played in defense. Still, there were almost 20 minutes from this change and nothing special happened. Thus, the coach of red-blue shorts used his last forward, Danciulescu, hoping to get the score even. With 15 minutes before the end of the match, Florentin Dumitru centered on the right side, Lita centered again in front of the goal, and Claudiu Raducanu scored while falling and got the score even.
Thus, the 26th stage dispute was performed under the supporters’ expectations, who were hoping in a victory.
