LET'S LEARN TO LOVE!

In the pragmatic century we are living in, the image of the happiness is more and more related to the money, the social position, and the material goods that we own. There are only a few those who remember the inward values of the happiness, of the affection and love, the most important coordinates of the human balance.
Yet, on Christmas time there is always a very good occasion for experiencing the inward feelings and "recapitulations". We are caught by the Holidays' emotions. And it helps to open up our souls, to talk more easily about love, trust and happiness. And to dream about finding them under the brilliant Christmas tree…

Here we reached the end of the year, experiencing the approach of the wonderful Holidays moments. There is concluded another year that has brought to us fulfillment and disappointments, successes and breakdowns, accomplishments and failures, bigger or smaller, on everyday life. 2002 is already a memory starting from now …
We look forward to a brand new year. Railway employees or not, we are getting ready to pass the threshold of this new year, that we are looking hopefully for better, thinking the numerous plans and objectives - for the Railways, for our families, for ourselves - representing challenges, on professional and personal plan. Personally, I hope that in 2003 I will get your help, of the readers, without which our publication could not find its way.
I believe that now, at the end of the year, we should be better, more loving, more forgiving. In point of ourselves and in relationship with the others. Let's think about beautiful things and let's try to open up more our souls and to let the affection towards the ones around us to penetrate us during the next year.
Being children, we need our parents love: then, as we are growing up, our expectations are also increased, always changing. Yet, at every age our affective tank should be always full! Otherwise there is the chance to "dry up", to become frustrated and to approach negative behavior. Missing the peace that the certitude of loving and of being loved offers, we would be more strained, unhappy.
There are two ways of bringing up the peace in our soul: to learn to offer love and to get love. Both have a vital importance for each of us. Because there is also very vital to learn the most important life lesson: the love. It is a tough lesson, not because it is tough to assimilate, yet because each person has his own way of expressing and receiving the affection. Some of us, have an enormous need to be caressed and, this way, they would want to get the physical affection, striving, on their turn, to express in the same way their own love. Others need especially the appreciation and the encouragement, of a permanent confirmation that they are loved and they are granted attention. And so on, endlessly. There are so many people, and also so many ways of "experimenting" the love. It is important to find out a modality to express it, to offer it to the ones around you from the fullness of your hearts called love.
Let's try this now, at the threshold of the Holly Holidays! Now, when the Santa Claus is coming to bring presents and the joy in our souls. Maybe we would be happier all together if instead of expensive presents we would succeed to offer to the loved ones more comfort and affection.
