MODERN MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
FOR THE RAILWAY NETWORK
Friday, the 20th of July 2000, at the CF Witting University Hospital, there took place the inauguration of the Rontgen Diagnostic equipment of type SIREGRAF and MULTIX COMPACT made by Siemens, at the Radiological and Imagistic lab. The two devices will be used for radiographies and radio-scopes. They belong to the paramedical category of the medical act and they help at correctly fining the diagnostic. This way all hospital departments can beneficiate of these two medical devices within the Radiological and Imagistic lab.
To obtain this high quality equipment the Health Insuring House of the Transport Department (CAST) had a great contribution. It helps to keep this tradition by means of which "even from the beginning of the Minister of Transport there also has been a social and health insurance material base. Thus CAST represents the continuity of this tradition- declared for us Miss. Gabriela Ion, president of the Health Insuring House of the Transport Department.
Because the entire sanitary network used 30-year-old equipment, this improvement was absolutely necessary, taking into account the fact that the majority of the Ministry of Transport employees get medical attention here.
Presently, the entire hospital personnel are attending a two-week specialization classes. Each patient will receive immediately an exact diagnostic, since these two equipment's performance consists in the exact establishment of the diagnostic for any patient. The value of this acquisition is of nine milliards lei. According to the Minister of Transport Mis. Anca Boiagiu statement, " the collaboration with the Health Insuring House of the Transport Department will go on because the sanitary network modernization is a junction point for these two institutions. Anca Boiagiu considers that " Siemens is a reliable firm, that produces modern machines, but we do not reject the idea of collaborate with other firms too.
" The SIREGRAF and MULTIX COMPACT equipment brought at the Witting Hospital opens a little gate concerning the sanitary equipment improvement within the transport department medical network.
