After the modernization, the space meant for the preparation and the consumption of food that works at the mezzanine G gate, fulfills all the conditions required for the places with alimentary profile. The rearranging works and the finishing works aimed the preparation place for food, as well as clients' service area. In the "kitchen' area, by building a wall covered with faience have been created strictly delimited washing compartments (for dishes, for vegetables, for fruits), as well as a compartment for the preparation of the aliments provided to the clients. The walls in the washing areas and cooking machines have been also covered with faience. At the entrance of the buffet, dividing walls has been arranged a space for the depositing.

The ceiling of the unit has been executed from Armstrong type plates, easy to dismount in case of some defects occurrence at the electrical or sanitary installation, and in order to create a pleasant environment, in the attendance area of the table, the walls were covered with stainless steel and melamine, in the fake ceiling being placed lighting spots and mounted air conditioning devices.

The closures, respectively the doors from the entrance, have been replaced with aluminum joinery and thermal-isolating windows. The furniture, the division and the accessories of the dinning room are wooden and stainless steel made, with geometrical shapes, which offer a pleasant aspect, and also civilized.

The equipment with high quality machinery and the concern to offer an esthetic aspect to the unit, as attractive as possible have made that presently the buffet to be very modern and to meet the exigencies.

 

Authorized parking at G gate

G gate of CFR Palace is an important way to access this building that hosts also MLPTL, so that there have been imposed the modernization and the adequate treatment of this area in order to gain an appropriate aspect. The pavement in front of the building and till the access area in the garage has been paved with impressed concrete having the same color and shape as that of the pavement from the main entrance area of the ministry. This pavement is resistant to the wear, being in the same time anti-skidding. Still at this entrance there have been arranged the access for persons with locomotion handicap that are in wheelchairs.

The pavement has been also delimited with metallic pillars in order to stop the access of unauthorized cars. In the respective perimeter has been arranged a parking place with barrier, accessed by remote control, so that the area to be optimally used. The space between the barriers allows the parking of almost 22 vehicles and, additionally, there are two places for the cars of persons with handicap. Still for this category of persons, according to minister's order, Mr. Miron Mitrea, at the first floor has been arranged a special sanitary group, with all necessary equipment: there have been changed faience covers, sanitary objects, there have been mounted sustaining bars and anti-sliding carpets, the door was made wider in order to enter easily an adequate wheelchair, sanitary object have been mounted at special height, for an easier usage.

 

Tariffs under the market price

The washhouse owned by GEI CFR Palace is place at the basement of the building, C gate, and offers services more and more various. The capacity of the unit is big, being able to handle without problems a rapid rhythm of laundry washing. There have been contracted various washing, ironing, starching and perfuming services for laundry, towels and table clothes for Snagov Complex. It is necessary to underline that the detergents and the additives used are one of the best, because there is no question in point of quality. The washhouse is equipped with automatic machines of big capacity, as well as with smaller machines, for five kilograms of laundry, so that there can be made even smaller orders, and the price will not be higher because of unjustified consumes.

 

Never-failing magnetic card

At one of the elevators from the main gate has been implemented an access system based on magnetic card. Thus, the door that allows access to the elevator's hall can be accessed only by special magnetic cards, in order to stop the penetration in the building of the unauthorized persons, thus preventing certain unexpected events, as well as the stealing of goods. Additionally, the personnel from the management of various institutions that have their headquarters in CFR Palace can thus reach at any hour from day or night at their institution's headquarters.

The cabin of the elevator has been modernized, with lighting and shining material walls, which reflect the light, giving it space; the lifting-descending system has been replaced with a modern one (Hitachi speed varying device), more safe and which allows smoother stops-leaves. Closing system of the cabin's doors is equipped with photocell, being thus avoided the danger of doors closure when a person is in its operational area.

 

Bridge Club "Locomotiva"

In order to create a more pleasant ambient for the development of the competitions organized at Bridge Club "Locomotiva", in the hall where is performed this activity have been performed rearranging and repair works, the club being equipped with "new, shiny clothes" after the completion of these works. Everyone that knows this hall will be pleasantly surprised by the changes produced that can, who knows, represent a new…inspiration source for those who are competing.
